Hummus Recipe for Weight Maintenance

Best Hummus Ever!

1 19oz (540ml) can chick peas – drained

2 cloves garlic

2 tbsp Tahini (sesame seed paste) raw or roasted

1tbsp olive oil

Juice of one lemon

1 tsp cumin

¼ cup water

Salt to taste (approx ½ tsp)

Mix it all up in a blender, food processor or Magic Bullet until smooth. If it’s too thick just add a bit more water. Fabulous with veggies, spread on crackers, on burgers, in a salad and with whole grain pita chips.

Try adding your own flavors like chipotle, tumeric, roasted garlic – Just use your imagination.
